Aims & Scope
The Iraqi Postgraduate Medical Journal (IPMJ) aims to serve as a scholarly platform for the dissemination of high-quality research and academic contributions in the medical sciences in Iraq and internationally. The journal focuses on advancing knowledge in both clinical and basic medical sciences and supports evidence-based practice, postgraduate medical education, and health research.
The journal welcomes original and innovative submissions across a broad range of health-related disciplines, including:

All contributions should demonstrate scientific rigor, ethical integrity, and relevance to clinical practice or health systems.
Article Types
IPMJ considers the following types of manuscripts:
- Research Paper (Original Article): Reports of original research with significant scientific contribution
- Editorial: Commentary on current topics or published articles
- Review Article: Comprehensive analysis of published literature on a specific topic
- Case Report: Reports of unique or instructive clinical cases
